RED DRESS GALA
In 2018, the Red Dress Gala was a huge success! On September 21, Gamma Phi hosted its 8th annual Red Dress Gala. Red Dress Gala is Alpha Phi’s silent and live auction philanthropy. Families, friends, and alumni were invited to spend an elegant evening of dining, laughing, and dancing held during FSU’s Parents Weekend. Once the silent auction and dinner has concluded, the live auction takes place and paddles go up while guests begin biding for prizes such as weekend trips, football game tickets, or week long vacations at beach villas. Proceeds from Red Dress Gala go to the Alpha Phi Foundation and Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our members, $32,000 was raised!
Alpha Phi Heart Race is a Spring philanthropy that benefits women with heath issues and spreads awareness throughout the local community. It is a 5K that starts and ends at the Alpha Phi house and runs around FSUs campus. This past year we held our second annual race and raised over $16,000 to support our local Tallahassee Memorial Hospital to help women in our community. It's great to see the outcome of this chapter's hard work, dedication, and effort to make this race such a success!
